A quick picture before I flew out of town for some training. Guy and the kids were left to fend for themselves for 6 days and while cereal made a regular appearance for dinner, they all did well.

For a change of pace and some free fun, we spent some time at the Mojave Fish Hatchery.

We started our long weekend with a short family vacation at Crystal Cove State Beach. We stayed in one of the beautiful cottages and had such a relaxing time! The beach was literally right outside the door. The sand was perfect and the water was the clearest we have ever seen in California.

Jack's first movie, Finding Nemo. He did so good! A little restless at times, but we stayed for the entire movie. Grandma Parkinson came along and we were almost the only ones in the theater.Couldn't have asked for a better first trip!
