Playing in the Rain

These kids love to get dirty and the second they saw a chance to go play in the mud they jumped at it (or I should say in it). They played outside in the rain until they were shivering and their lips had starting turning blue; they would have p;ayed longer but I decided they were done. I brought them inside and and they warmed up with a bath which seemed to be just as much fun as playing in the rain!

Our Little Fireman

I love this picture of him! He looks like such a little boy. Grandma Parkinson got Jack some fireman rain boots that he asks to wear all the time and after Halloween last year I picked up the fire fighter hat and jacket on clearance for $5.00! Score!! I thought he might like some dress up clothes that didn't involve a Disney princess.=)

Puppy Love: Part 2

Jack was rolling around on the floor today playing with Carl. Carl would lick his face and he would laugh. It reminded me of a blog I posted where Ella would give Carl big kisses so I looked it up. Below you can see them both giving Carl some love. I can't believe how grey Carl has gotten!

Jackie Knievel

This boy is everywhere and on EVERYTHING! Yesterday while hanging out at home Jack climbed up the dining room chair and onto the table so that he could play with the candles in the center piece. I heard Guy say "Jack! What are you doing!" and turned around to see him on the table. No joke, maybe five minutes later he was playing with his little firetruck push car when he stood on the seat and held his arms out to keep his balance; just like you would see Evil Knievel do while standing on top of a moving motorcycle. This combined with his dive through our good friends screen door recently and we are well on our way to his first paid stunt man performance! He definitely keeps us on our toes, fortunately he also makes us smile along the way!

Ballerina Ella

Ella attended her first ballet/tap class this week. She has been asking to do ballet ever since her friend Emma starting going a few months ago. She got some super cute ballet clothes (my favorite part) for her birthday so we signed her up. She is definitely not shy! On our way over to the dance studio she said "Mom, your not going to go in there with me are you? Your just going to watch right?". Really!?! I didn't realize that started so early! She went right in with out hesitation. Her teacher had to reel her in a few times (she loved to watch herself dance in the mirror and would leave the group to look at her self twirl) but overall she had fun and did a great job.

Minnie Mouse Party

We had a small party to celebrate Ella's birthday on Sunday, carrying over the Minnie Mouse theme from her first trip to Disneyland. It was a beautiful day and all the family got together. She is definitely a very loved little girl!

Happiest Place on Earth!

Ella's 1st trip to Disneyland was amazing!! It was so much fun to experience the park with her; to see how excited she was made it a whole new experience for us as well. When we arrived she received two buttons; one for her 1st visit and one for her birthday. Everywhere we went through out the park they wished her a happy birthday. Shortly after we arrived we bought her a Minnie Mouse hat and she insisted on wearing it all day. It was perfect weather! The park wasn't busy and the character's were everywhere! Ella was able to meet all of her favorite princess's. She rode every ride we came across (at least the ones she was tall enough to ride) and especially loved anything fast and/or spinning. We stayed at the park from the time it opened to the time it closed. It was such a fun day!! Below are some photos from our day...

Happy 3rd Birthday Ella!

Happy birthday to my sweet girl on your 3rd birthday. Thank you for bringing such joy into my life. You are funny, happy, and so smart! You are always giving your brother kisses and insist that you are the one to wake him up every morning. He loves you just as much and yells out your name if he wakes up before you. You are far from shy and make friends every where we go. You are so girly and love to play dress up but your also not afraid to get dirty. You are learning so much with Miss Kim; you know the pledge of allegiance, can count to thirty, are always singing new songs, and can now write your name! At times you test the boundaries, like any three year old, but overall you are an amazing little girl!
