Halloween

This year Alphonso, Valerie, and Amy came over to trick or treat with us. We met up with some fabulous friends and made our way around the neighborhood. The kids all had a good time and were excited to spend time together!

Ballet Halloween Party

Ballet ended up on Halloween this year. Miss Alyssa danced with the kids and brought them all a super fun mix of Halloween treats. It was a small group that night but so much fun!

Race Cars

Jack has been all about his cars lately. A few of my super creative friends made a race track out of masking tape for their kids and I decided to try it out. Ella and Jack loved it! It was good, cheap fun that we will definitely be doing again!

even Barbie and Belle got in on the action.

52 Week Project Week 37-40

Week #37
Saturday September 15th, 2012
A quick photo before heading out to the Jocelyn's Journey fundraising event.

Week #38
Sunday September 23rd, 2012
Guy and I were heading down to San Diego. We spent the day with family celebrating Aunt Dee's 80th birthday on a beautiful ship. The kids had a fun day with Miss Bernice.

Week #39
Sunday September 30th, 2012
Guy and I had just come back from a quick weekend away in Vegas. Ella missed us so much that when I laid her down for her nap I told her that I missed her and asked if she had fun with Grandma, she said (in her best sad face and voice)"ya, but can we spend the weekend with Grandma again soon?". I missed you too Ella =).

Week #40
Sunday, October 7th, 2012
Guy left for North Carolina to visit some family on Saturday.  The kids and I spent the weekend just hanging around the house enjoying each others company.

Halloween Bash

Aunt Valerie hosted a kid friendly Halloween party this year. Ella and Jack thought it was awesome that they got to wear their costumes and hang out with Amy and Drew. They got to play games, put a face on a pumpkin, and decorate a ghost rice krispie treat with icing; plus they filled up on sugary treats which always makes a party awesome!

Our Buzzy Bee

Ella was so excited to wear her "Buzzy Bee" costume!  We bumped up the poof factor with a couple of tutu's underneath.  She kept twirling and telling me how much she loved it.  Fortunately she loved it because it got a lot of use this year.

Oak Glen 2012

Trying to play catch up. This time of year is so busy and I want to a make sure I blog everything so that it makes it into our annual book. A few days before Halloween we went to Oak Glen to pick apples. The kids loved it! They each ate a few apples as walked and enjoyed spending time with Mike, Jen, and Cindy.

Jack was Uncle Mike's helper. The two of them together were able to reach all of the good apples at the top that no one else could reach.

Pumpkin Patch 2012

I love tradition, especially those that involve holidays! Every year we head out to the local Pumpkin Patch. The kids pick out a couple pumpkins and we follow them around taking a 1000 pictures hoping to get a few good ones. lol. Maybe after this post I will throw in some out takes.

Jack's Mustache Bash "Photo Booth"

The photo booth was a huge hit! Here are all of our fabulous family and friends! Thank you guys so much for making Jack's 2nd birthday fun and full of such great memories! Enjoy!
