Sunset Concert Series: Part 2

This time around was just as much fun as the first! I am bummed that there is only one concert left. Ella and I were accompanied by Daddy, Chrissy, baby Madison and Uncle Chad. The kettle corn was awesome and the music rocked. I am already looking forward to next week.

Sunset Concert Series

A friend of mine is always talking about how much fun she has at the Summer Concert Series, so tonight we decided to go check it out. There was awesome music, vendors for food and drinks and friends I hadn't seen in forever; they even had a beer garden. Ella had a good time checking out all the people and lights. I can't wait to go back next week!

4 Month Check Up

Ella just had her 4 month check up which included her second set of shots. Proving that she is well taken care of, her stats are as follows..

weight: 16 lbs
height: 26"
= 90th percentile for both height and weight

I can't get enough of those beautiful blue eyes!

My Little Stink Bug

Last week I went to get Ella ready to go to day care and this is what I found. It was so cute I had to run down stairs to get the camera so I could take a picture.

Fun in the Sun

Yesterday we took Ella to the beach for the first time. It was a trying time getting from our front door to actually putting our feet in the sand, but once we got there we had a great time! It's amazing how much stuff you have to pack just to spend a few hours at the beach. I would guess that having 3 babies under 4 months and a 2 year old with us had something to do with it.

This happened to our friends on the way down. The car in front of them hit a piece of metal trim from a motor home and it flew at their car smashing their window! Fortunately everybody was ok. We went back home so they could switch cars and everybody was still able to go have a good time.

10 things I love about my 4 month old...

I can't believe how fast she is changing! Only 4 months ago she was inside of my belly and now she is standing, rolling and smiling. We have taken more pictures of her in the past 4 months than any one person should probably ever have taken of them. I hope that one day many years down the road during some inevitable teenage angst, I will be able to look back and remember how her beautiful face and fun personality melted my heart...

1) I love that the instant she sees you after she opens her eyes she gives you the biggest smile.

2) I love her super cute tiny painted piggy's.

3) I love to watch her interaction with all of her Grandparents, Aunt's and Uncle's. She is a lucky girl to have so many people that love her!

4) I love that every so often she lets Guy and I sleep all night.

5) I love her chunky legs.

6) I love that she watches Carl. The other day she ran into him with the walker trying to grab him.

7) I love watching how her face lights up every night in the bath. She is now kicking so hard that the water is flying across the kitchen. I think we are going to have to move to the bathroom in the near future.

8) I love that just thinking about her brings a smile to my face.

9) I love her beautiful blue eyes.

10) I love how much I love her!

Lazy Sunday

We were all hanging out this morning just being lazy. Ella was having so much fun playing. I think she was having a full conversation with all of her toys. I love days like this!

4th of July

Ella's first Fourth of July was perfect! We spent the day with family and friends at Grandma and Grandpa Thomas' house. Their beautiful backyard was the perfect place for a summer BBQ. After a day filled with swimming and good food we headed over to Victorville to watch fireworks. I had prepared myself for a grouchy baby come fire works time, being past bedtime and all, but she was great! She actually watched the fireworks. All that fun must have worn her out, because after only waking up once last night she slept until 10 this morning!

Congrats Chris!

We are so excited for our friend Chris who closed escrow on his first house this week! It has been a LONG process (his escrow ended up having two extensions)but he finally got his keys and has already started making it his own.

Just Because
