Happy Birthday Grandpa Thomas and Great Grandma Seybert

Aunt Valerie hosted a surprise birthday party for Grandpa Thomas and Great Grandma Seybert this past weekend. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time.

Pregnancy Update: 30 weeks Pregnant!

how far along: 30 weeks

sleeping: Sleeping is becoming more of a challenge. I am starting to wake up more often to pee now and having some trouble rolling over with this belly in the way.

total weight gain: 12 lbs (I am sure this number has gone up since my last doctor's appointment, but I refuse to stand on the scale between visits.=)

movement: I'm pretty sure this baby is practicing kick boxing in there.

food craving: nothing lately, although tacos sound good right now =)

what I miss: feet that aren't swollen at the end of the day

what I look forward too: Taking some prego pictures; we're not sure if this is going to be our last baby so I want to make sure and get this baby belly on film.

milestones: We are officially in the 3rd trimester. As stated in my pregnancy update e-mails "the honeymoon phase of your pregnancy is over". hehe

how am I feeling: I am starting to feel a little bit nervous about the delivery. Having had a scheduled c-section with Ella and planning a VBAC with this baby, I just don't know what to expect.

Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed

Our day starts pretty early during the week. Guy and I wake up at 4:30 (plus a couple hits of the snooze button) and Ella wakes up at 5:40 which gives me about 10 minutes to get her ready before we have to leave. Nobody likes to be woken up that early in the morning so until she wakes up a little bit, she's a little...grouchy. A few days ago, Ella was in rare form; she was her happy bubbly self even at 5:40 in the morning. She was happy to get dressed, brush her teeth, and even let me do her hair with out a fight! I couldn't resist taking a few pictures before we hit the road. (The first is a little blurry, but too cute not to share.

The Great Escape - Miss Ella

I previously wrote about the little man trying to escape my belly. Apparently Ella was reading my blog entry over my shoulder and decided she didn't want to be left out. This morning while I was getting ready and Guy was about to walk out the door Ella woke up early. (I usually wake her up about 10 minutes before we walk out the door) Guy came in to tell me that Ella was awake and that when he went in to get her she was standing in the middle of the room! Ella decided to use the crib bumper as a step and was somehow able to swing her leg over and drop to the ground. Crib bumper's are going to be removed ASAP! Let's hope that keeps her in there a little while longer because I am not ready for her to be able to roam free. Isn't 16 months a little early to be jumping out of your crib??

The Great Escape

I'm pretty sure as I write this the little man is trying to escape from my belly by pushing his feet up against the left side of my belly and pushing as hard as he can with out letting up.

Note to the little man - You are not ready to come out yet, so relax and enjoy the ride for a few more months =)
