15 days
How has it already been 15 days since my last post? These past few weeks have flown by. Since starting back to work we have been trying to get back on a schedule and I am finally feeling like we are there. The kids are adjusting to getting up early, as am I. Were working on buying a new house and will hopefully hear some good news soon. It feels like the kids are doing something new every day. Jack is on the verge of rolling over any day and while Ella was hopping around the living room yesterday she counted to five all by herself! Life right now is hectic and awesome all at the same time; as I write this, I hear Guy asking Ella "Why??? Why are you throwing dog food all over the stairs?". Good times!

Jack at 3 months
Jack at three months is so much fun. He is smiling and laughing all the time which melts my heart. He has recently started blowing spit bubbles which is soaking his shirt but he seems to think its funny. We're still waking up a couple times a night and hoping that soon he will decide that sleep is better than food =). Overall he is a pretty awesome little boy!

Quite the Artist
Although it is hard to be away from my kids when I go to work, we are lucky to have found a day care that teaches Ella new things, allows her to socialize with kids her age, and helps her to explore her creativity by doing crafts daily. Ella LOVES to paint and thanks to Miss Kim she gets to paint often. I love that Ella is not even two and I have a fridge full of crafts that change with the season! Thank you Miss Kim for taking such good care of our little girl (and soon Jack too)!

Snow Day!
We had an unexpected two days of snow and loved every minute of it! (up until I fell on the ice that it left behind!) Ella was a little timid at first and absolutely refused to wear her gloves. When I told her she could eat the snow she thought that was awesome! She wandered around the front and back yard. I showed her how to make a snow man and snow angel's, both of which she was not interested in; all she wanted to do was eat the snow. She played outside for about 30 minutes or so, until her hands got so cold they hurt and we had to go in. To help her warm up I offered Ella her very first cup of hot chocolate which she tried and quickly put back down to ask for milk instead, not quite the reaction I was expecting. Overall Ella was under whelmed with the winter festivities. Hopefully next year she will enjoy it a little bit more. We do have to send a big thank you to our neighbors for loaning us snow clothes, boots, and gloves. I was completely unprepared! Thanks Gigi!

Although Jack slept through most of the snow fun, I can't end this post with out a picture of him in his super cute snow outfit!

Hopes for 2011
Guy and the kids (it's still crazy to me to say kid's, as in two!) are kicking off the new year with a nap and I am enjoying a rare moment of silence in the house. Last year flew by so quickly and brought us a new addition to our family. Adjusting to a family of four has been challenging, but I am starting to feel like I have hit my stride. In just a few short weeks I will be returning to work and adjusting to a new "normal" but I am confident that we will all quickly fall into a routine. For now I am enjoying spending time with my husband and babies. We are planning some big changes for 2011, to include moving into a new home. The changes are exciting and scary all at the same time and I am looking forward to what the future has to bring! I have some hopes for 2011. I hope the year will bring us even closer to our family and friends. I hope for a healthier, and even happier family. I hope to have more patience with my children. I hope to have new and exciting adventures.
Thank you for taking time to read about this crazy family of mine. It makes me happy to be able to look back at pictures and read stories from the past few years. I wish you and your family a new year filled with love and laughter. I hope that 2011 is the best year yet!
