Aquarium of the Pacific

I have been having some major camera difficulty lately!  On Easter I completely forgot my camera and at the Aquarium when we took the camera out to take pictures, I had forgotten to put the memory card in.  We don't have a whole lot of pictures from the day, but Guy was able to take a few with his phone so I could post them here. =)

52 week project Week 17- 20

Week #17
Sunday April 29th, 2012. Today we spent the day at home working on the yard.  I think we are nearing the end of our bout with hand foot and mouth disease.  We're all going a little stir crazy being stuck in this house and I am definitely ready to get back into a routine.


Week #18
Thursday May 3rd, 2012. Miss Kim came and spent the evening with the kids while Guy and I headed out for the King's hockey playoff game. Go Kings!!
Week #19
Sunday May 13th, 2012. Happy Mother's Day! We spent the day together, visited grandparents, had out of town guests, and just enjoyed each others company.

Week #20
Thursday May 24th, 2012.  Okay...so I missed a week.  I will have to make it up later in year.  This week we had a mini staycation.  Most of our long 5 day weekend was spent installing a sprinkler system and working around the house but we took one day and headed down to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.  The weather was beautiful and the kids had fun checking out all of the fish. 

Happy Easter!

Easter was so much fun!  The kids loved the goodies they got from the Easter Bunny and searching for Easter eggs was exciting too.  We went to Grandma's house where the kids had another Easter Egg Hunt and everyone enjoyed a fabulous dinner!  I completely forgot my camera; fortunately I was able to steal some from everyone else.

Visit from Aunt Stephanie

Aunt Stephanie came down from Washington to spend the weekend. All the family headed over to Grandma's house for a BBQ and had a great time hanging out together!  We even threw in a cake for Guy's birthday.

Day Care Appreciation Day

To Thank Miss Kim for the amazing job she does with our kids, Emma's Mom and I brought breakfast and lunch, cards with gift cards for Kim and the assistants, and some cupcakes for everyone to enjoy.  I brought my camera to take a picture for my 52 week project, but decided it deserved a post all it's own.  Our kids LOVE Miss Kim and are asking to go to her house by the time the weekend is over.  I feel lucky to have someone care so well for my kids when we have to be at work.  She never hesitates when we need something and constantly goes above and beyond.

p.s.  As you can see Jack was hot and sweaty from playing outside and not too excited about being in our picture. lol
