Take Some Lessons

Even though Ella is now 2 months old, I am still trying to master the multi-tasking skills needed so that while taking care of her stuff still gets done around the house. It looks like I need to take some lessons from Guy who can talk on the phone, work on the computer, and take care of the baby all at the same time. Love you babe!

2 months already

We went to the doctor today for Ella's 2 month appointment. The doctor said she is "perfect" (I would have to agree), and falls in to the 50th percentile in all categories. She is holding her head up, cooing, and starting to smile all of the time. Now if only we could get her to sleep through the night...someday =). Her stats are as follows...

Weight: 11 lbs 8oz
Head: 15"

First Mother's Day

It was so exciting to celebrate my first Mothers Day! Guy was great and let me relax all day. We went out to breakfast and then spent the afternoon with family down at Victoria Gardens. Now having a child of my own, I have a new appreciation for my own mother. I can only hope that one day Ella will look to me for advice the way I look to my Mom. I hope all the Moms out there also had a great day!

Ella has started smiling in the last few days and it is so cute! She decided to show Grandpa Thomas her new trick when he came over on Sunday.

Hockey Night Out

Last Friday Guy and I decided to take Ella to her first hockey game. We loaded up the car and headed down the hill with Danny, Chrissy and Jared to the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario to watch the Ontario Reign. Ella did so good! With all of noise she slept the entire time! We cant wait to take her again!

Baby Bath Time

We had hoped to post a video of her first bath, but it was not the G rated movie we had intended. Possibly after a little editing we can share it in the future =). Until then, we were able to take some cute pictures during bath time this weekend.

Happy Easter

We decided to dress Ella up in her Sunday best, including a fabulous head bow, and take her to the mall to have her picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Unfortunately our scanner is not working, so pictures of her in her Easter dress will have to do. Enjoy!
