Easter Bunny 2013

Surprisingly, Ella was the one hesitant to sit with the Easter Bunny this year. With a little push she was on board, and afterwards she asked over and over if she could sit on his lap again. On the way to see the bunny Ella asked me if he was going to talk. I told her that I didn't think rabbits could talk. She informed me that big bunny's did in fact talk and she would show me when we got there. Apparently, when the kids were sitting on his lap the bunny said "say cheese". Ella couldn't wait to come tell me "See! I told you Mom! Bunnies DO talk!" How do I argue with that?

Aerial's New Do

After her bath, I usually sit in this chair and brush Ella's hair.  To get her to look straight or to turn her head, I will tell her "look towards the TV", or "look at the couch".  This morning, Cinderella still sporting her bed head, decided that Aerial could not go another minute with that mop of a hair style.  While sitting at the table I heard Ella say "Aerial, look at the TV".  It is so funny to hear my words come out of her mouth, (okay, sometimes it's not so funny)

St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick's Day was so much fun. No one was pinched around here; we all wore green! For dinner we spent the afternoon with Mee Maw and Paw Paw, as the kids would say. Grandma made an awesome Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage. It was a lot of fun to spend the night with family.

St. Patty's Day Party

Miss Kim throw's an awesome party! The kids all love the fun stuff she plans and St. Patrick's Day was no different. Ella and Jack both dressed in their St. Patty's Day best. They found a "pot of gold", wore fun green shamrock necklaces, and enjoyed green cupcakes with green milk. Here they are all ready for the party...

Camping with Grandma

Grandma asked if the kids could spend the night and have a camp out.  To say they were excited is an understatement.  Papa set the tent up in the living room, and they watched movies and roasted marshmallows.  I had them pose for a quick picture before we headed over to Grandma's, I promise she is hugging him, not chocking him. lol     

KidSpace

We all needed to get out of the house, so we headed to Pasadena for a day at the KidSpace Museum.  The weather was gorgeous and it was fun to get out of town even if just for an afternoon.  They had a lot of fun stuff for the kids, and lots of water play.  I wish I had brought the kids a change of clothes (just a head's up for any one else heading down there).  It turned out to be a great family day! 

Ella's 4th Birthday

Ella's 4th Birthday was such a fun time!  Family and friends came for the ballet celebration.  Hannah brought her new point shoes and the little girls were so excited.  I was so excited with how the party came together!  I feel like a broken record, but it is really hard to believe that Ella is 4!  When did that happen?  She is funny, smart, outgoing, sensitive, and overall a really good kid.  Watching her and Jack interact with each other is so special.  We are trying to enjoy every moment we can with our Ella, hoping her sweet demeanor will last forever. Happy Birthday Ella Belle!!
