Nerds

I think she is following his lead when it comes to computers. It's fun to watch them interact and see her excited to learn.  On this morning Guy was playing a game and Ella was asking a million questions. 

Big Boy Bed

Jack moved up to a big boy bed today. About a week ago he started climbing in and out of his crib and we decided it was probably best to move him up into a toddler bed so that he didn't end up hurting himself. Ella was in her crib until she turned three, so I'm not sure that I am completely ready for this, but he was pretty excited so we will see how it goes.  My baby is turning into a big boy. (sniff sniff, insert tears here)

Loving these moments

I love that the kids are at an age that where they actually enjoy each other. Don't get me wrong,they have days where getting along is not on the agenda, but for the most part they play together well.  This day I found them laying in the hallway, both decked out in their princess/Halloween costume best, coloring together.   

Happy Birthday Papa!

Ella and Jack love their Papa and they couldn't wait to sing him Happy Birthday.  We love you! 

LA Zoo

We took the kids down to the LA Zoo to check out the animals.  It was HOT that day...so hot!  Being pregnant, the heat and I didn't get along too well.  So we spent a few hours making a big circle and then headed home.  The kids favorite animals were the Giraffe's and the Chimpanzee's, and the loved the merry go round!  I only took a few pictures, probably because a majority of the time I was trying to resist the urge to run back to the car and turn the A/C on. 

Watering Cans

We got some watering cans for the kids so that they could water our (not so successful) garden. Let's be honest here, it was an epic fail! The watering cans however, have been a huge hit around. Fortunately we have plants and grass in the yard to use them on. I really need to work on my green thumb!

Daddy's Birthday

Guy's 34th birthday was really low key this year.  We relaxed at home, did a little shopping, he opened a new remote control air plane, and of course there was cake.  He is an amazing father and husband and I have no idea what we would do with out him!  Happy Birthday Daddy!!
