3rd Wedding Anniversary

Guy and I celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary in San Diego this past weekend. We started our weekend get away with the Gas Lamp Segway Tour. (which we loved and highly recommend!) Saturday we walked through Sea Port Village, shopped in the Gas Lamp District and had an awesome dinner at the Fish Market. It was so great to spend time together. The past year has been awesome and full of exciting changes. I can't wait to see what the next year has on store!

Gas Lamp Segway Tour

Last night Guy and I had an awesome tour of San Diego on a Segway! With only mild amounts of heckling from bicyclists, we traveled around the city for almost 3 hours. The tour started in the Gas Lamp district then went through Petco stadium and down to the waterfront. We followed the boardwalk all the way down, went up through little Italy and all through Balboa Park. We loved it! Now we wish we could rent one for the rest of our weekend because walking feels like your moving at turtle speeds.

My little acrobat

Since Ella was born Guy has been joking about balancing her on one hand. Today, he finally got his chance. It took a few attempts and some quick camera action, but we finally got it.(I promise, this picture is not photo shopped)
p.s. If you look closely, you can see her painted toes.

Guy's First Father's Day

We had a great weekend celebrating Guys first Father's Day. Saturday we spent the day with Danny, Chrissy, and baby Madison down in Anaheim shopping, bowling and having an awesome dinner at Benihana. Sunday we hung out with family. During the day we went to Grandpa and Grandma Parkinson's and the afternoon was spent with the Thomas side of the family. After such a busy weekend, Ella was tired and a little grouchy on Sunday; but that didn't stop the picture taking. I wanted to capture the moment, bad mood and all.

By this picture, Ella was spent.

One last picture of Guy and Ella. This is one of the many reason's Guy is such a great Dad. After a long day of Ella being grouchy, he is still able to sit back and laugh at the situation.

Guy, I hope that your First Father's Day was awesome! I feel so lucky to have you as my husband and the father of my little girl. You are such an amazing Dad. You can already see the love she has for you. Her face lights up when she hears your voice. I can say with out a doubt she is Daddy's little girl. I love you more than anything, and I couldn't imagine going on this life long adventure of parenthood with anyone but you. Thank You for always making me laugh! I love you!

Straight from the 80's

Ella has been changing so fast! She loves to be sitting or standing, but can't quite do either by herself yet. We picked up this sweet, straight from the 80's, teddy bear patterned walker at Babies R Us. When my Mom saw it she said I had one just like it. Ella is not moving in a forward motion yet, but is pushing herself backwards and in circles. So cute!

p.s. the drooling has commenced as evidenced in the picture below =)

Teddy

I picked up this super cute teddy bear/mini blanket at Target this weekend. Ella has really started holding onto things lately and I thought it would be cuter if she loved on the bear instead of the burp rag.

Ella's new friend

Our close friends Danny and Chrissy recently had a beautiful baby girl named Madison Hannah. She was born on June 2nd:6lbs 9oz & 18 1/2 inches long. Yesterday they brought her over to watch game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. It was funny to see how much change has occurred in one year! I had to take a few pictures of Guy and Danny both holding their little girls watching the game.
