We finally made it to the Pumpkin Patch!

For the past few weeks we have been trying to make it to the Pumpkin Patch and finally made it this weekend. We are lucky to have a local farm that offers a ton of pumpkins, huge corn maze, horse rides, farm tours, and my favorite - beautiful photo opportunities.

Who needs to ride in the wagon when eating it sounds like so much more fun!

Edwards Air Show/ Daddy's work tour

After checking out the Edwards Air Force Base Air Show with the family we stopped by Guy's work. I don't have too many pictures from the actual air show because it was so hot! Ella was great until a jet flew by; it was nap time and the loud noise was the final straw. Being able to check out Guy's work was worth the trip! It is so nice to finally see what Guy's work really looks like (and it is nothing like I pictured).

This is Ella and Guy at his desk. The picture is a little blurry but they are both looking at the camera and smiling so cute!

This is where Guy sits when he is tracking planes and retrieving information using satellites.

This is the view of the air show from Guys work. Look at all of the cars parked on the dry lake bed. They were expecting around 100,000 people!

This is the satellite dish Guy uses.

Happy Haunting

Guy has been working on a haunted house; he is making all kinds of scary things like the skeleton man pictured below. Hopefully the kids trick-or-treating at our house are more scared than Ella was. She sat right next to him while Guy took a few pictures, and after he put her back down on the floor she crawled back over to check him out some more.

Tons of Fun

It is so cute to see Ella and Carl together! Ella starts talking to Carl whenever he walks into the room and Carl is always trying to get kiss Ella; he is quickly becoming her favorite thing to play with. I'm sure they will provide each other with hours of entertainment!

Note: Her nose is still orange; you don't realize how many orange baby foods there are until you try to avoid them. =)

Love of all things orange

While editing some pictures from the past few days we noticed that Ella's nose was a little orange. After some quick internet research, it appears that our little girl's love of all things orange -sweet potatoes, carrots, squash and peaches-has caused a beta-carotene overload. The funny thing is that you don't even notice it in person, only in pictures. Hopefully with a little more variety over the next week the orange nose will fade; keep you posted.
