Winter...what winter?

We have definitely not been having winter weather in Southern California.  This weekend it has been in the 70's, even reaching 80 degrees on a few days.  This keeps up I'm going to need to pull out some of the kids shorts!  To take advantage of this amazing weather, we spent some time outside cleaning up the backyard.  Ruby didn't want to miss out so she cruised around in her walker and supervised.

Peek -a-Boo

I love so many things about this picture. Lately when your holding Ruby and she wants to pretend she's shy, she smiles, hides her face on your shoulder, and then peeks out to see if the person who was saying hi is still there so she can do it all over again. Almost like a game of peek-a-boo. She really is a lot of fun...and so dang cute!!

Valentines Day Dance Party

Ella was very excited for her Valentine's Day dance party. Not only because there was going to be a ton of treats, but because she was going to fill her sticker paper and get a special prize. This time around she picked a pair of Rapunzel heels.

Christmas recital

Ella's dance studio held an informal dance recital. All the kids got a chance to show off their dances to family. It was crazy busy and packed full of people. Ella was excited to "dance on stage" and looked so cute in her Christmas tutu.

Thanksgiving

While Christmas is a lot of fun and one of my favorite holidays, I love being able to see everyone at Thanksgiving and just relax with out all of the present excitement.  We were able to see both sides of the family and enjoyed visiting with everyone! The food was delicious as always.  Now onto the Christmas festivities.

Halloween

Halloween was such a fun night!  Valerie and the girls came over to trick or treating with us and we got our first picture of all five cousins together. Growing up close to my cousins was awesome and I am excited that our kids get to experience that too!

Library Day

My maternity leave is about to end and I am trying to squeeze in some one on one time with all the kids. On this day, Ella was at pre-school and Ruby hung out with Marie so that me and Jack could spend the morning together at the library. Valerie invited us to tag along. The local library has a kids program, this week they were able to come in their costumes and trick or treat the library. Jack had fun and only took out a few kids with his wings.
