98 days...

98 days to go until the little man makes an appearance =)

ICE, ICE, ICE...

If Ella sees you drinking anything with ice in it, she runs towards you yelling "Ice, Ice, Ice". She is completely obsessed with eating ice and will not hesitate to throw her hand into your cup with out warning to grab a piece. Last week, while hanging out at the concert in the park, Jared introduced Ella to a whole new realm of ice...snow cones! Ella was in heaven and would open her mouth as wide as she could to take a bite. She still loves the flavorless old stand by, but I'm sure that the snow cone is holding a special place in her heart.

4th of July, 2010

Fourth of July weekend this year was pretty laid back and full of BBQ's. Both days Ella fared surprisingly well (that's code for only a few melt downs) considering she didn't have an afternoon nap; however, afternoon naps were promptly re-instated today! She was completely passed out at 7 last night,so she will have to wait until next year for the fireworks.

Ella finally got into the "big" pool and actually liked it.

After pool time was over and Ella's clothes had been changed she decided to get back in to the pool shoes and all, and pour water all over herself. I guess she was hot =)

Ella and I had a great afternoon on Friday with friends we haven't seen in forever! Thank you so much for inviting us along =) It was really nice to catch up!

2010 Summer Concert Series

Last year we had such a good time at the concert in the park that we decided this year was a must. I was a little concerned that we would be doing a lot of chasing Ella around, (last year she wasn't walking) and there was a little, but overall it went really well. Ella loves to be outside and listen to the music and spent most of her time dancing which was entertaining for everyone. Of course I didn't have a video camera, so Chrissy took the video below and I stole it from her =)

Pregnancy Update: 24 weeks pregnant!

how far along: 24 weeks

sleeping: Still sleeping well!

total weight gain: 8 lbs

movement: The baby is moving so much now! Guy can feel it and I'm sure that we will be able to see my belly move soon.

food craving: Still into the spicy food. Last week I couldn't get enough Hot Cheetos! (and I never eat Hot Cheetos)

what I miss: Not too much. Although I guess one thing I miss is being cold. I used to always be a person that was cold and now I am ALWAYS hot!

what I look forward too: Working on the nursery. Looks like were going with a nautical theme =)

milestones: Finding out were having a boy!

how am I feeling: Emotional. I'm sure its the pregnancy hormones but the tears are flowing just writing this blog. I feel like this pregnancy is going too fast! I want to slow it down so that I can remember being pregnant. Remember the baby moving. Remember all of the excitement of having a prego belly. My goal over the next few months is to sit back and just enjoy being pregnant.
