Good to be home!

We had a great vacation last week! Once we were home, Ella didn't waste any time getting the house back to her liking. This is how our living room looked after being home for only a few hours.

Pregnancy Update: 27 Weeks Pregnant!

how far along: 27 weeks

sleeping: I have been waking up quite frequently these days, mostly because I am hot and even with the A/C and fan running I feel like it's 100 degrees in our room!

total weight gain: 10 lbs

movement: This baby is all over the place. Not only can Guy feel the baby move, but he can see my belly move too!

food craving: I haven't really been craving anything lately (at least that I can remember)

what I miss: Cold weather! Last week I went "swimming" in Ella's baby pool just to cool off.

what I look forward too: Working on the nursery. Nautical theme out...Tiki Hut theme in. We just got the super cute bedding from Pottery Barn Kids! (named Santa Barbara)

milestones: About to enter the third trimester! (How did that happen so fast?!?!)

how am I feeling: Like I have a ton of things to do but I am running out of time. I am always telling Guy "don't you feel like we have nothing done?" and he always answers "We'll be fine". Let's just say if the baby came right now he would be naked and sleeping on the floor! I'm sure it is my hormones making me feel unprepared, but I can't help but feel a little overwhelmed some days.

While Aunt Valerie was at school tonight we got to hang out with little Amy. The girls went swimming, ate dinner, and then both passed out. We love Miss Amy and it was so nice to see her!

98 days...

98 days to go until the little man makes an appearance =)

ICE, ICE, ICE...

If Ella sees you drinking anything with ice in it, she runs towards you yelling "Ice, Ice, Ice". She is completely obsessed with eating ice and will not hesitate to throw her hand into your cup with out warning to grab a piece. Last week, while hanging out at the concert in the park, Jared introduced Ella to a whole new realm of ice...snow cones! Ella was in heaven and would open her mouth as wide as she could to take a bite. She still loves the flavorless old stand by, but I'm sure that the snow cone is holding a special place in her heart.

4th of July, 2010

Fourth of July weekend this year was pretty laid back and full of BBQ's. Both days Ella fared surprisingly well (that's code for only a few melt downs) considering she didn't have an afternoon nap; however, afternoon naps were promptly re-instated today! She was completely passed out at 7 last night,so she will have to wait until next year for the fireworks.

Ella finally got into the "big" pool and actually liked it.

After pool time was over and Ella's clothes had been changed she decided to get back in to the pool shoes and all, and pour water all over herself. I guess she was hot =)
