Jack's Mustache Bash!

What a fun day!  To celebrate Jack turning two we had a mustache bash.  Everyone wore stick on mustaches, had fun with the "photo booth", and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I have so many pictures that I want to make sure get into the photo book so I am going to let the pictures tell the story of the day. 

Pretty Nails

Grandma promised Ella a manicure session. I don't think when she made that promise, she realized how beautiful her nails would be when she was finished.









Ella is a lucky lady to have Grandma, almost as lucky as I am to have her as my Mom!

Finding Nemo

Friday we took Jack to see his first movie, Finding Nemo. I couldn't believe that he lasted (with a few attempts to roam the theater) the entire movie! This picture is not the best quality. But I wanted to be sure to capture the memory so a blurry phone picture will have to do.

Under the weather

We had a quick cold go through our house.  One day when we got home from Kim's Ella was not feeling well and fell asleep on the chair.  I was taking her temperature and Jack decided he wanted to try it out.  First he took his own temperature, then he decided that it would be way more fun to take Ella's. 

Hannah's 10th recital

I am so proud of you Hannah!  10 years of dance is a great accomplishment and I was so excited  to see you dance and receive your 10th recital award.  I remember what a cute little girl you were when I met you.  You are quickly becoming a beautiful young woman.  We love you Hannah!

A quick picture before I flew out of town for some training. Guy and the kids were left to fend for themselves for 6 days and while cereal made a regular appearance for dinner, they all did well.

For a change of pace and some free fun, we spent some time at the Mojave Fish Hatchery.

We started our long weekend with a short family vacation at Crystal Cove State Beach. We stayed in one of the beautiful cottages and had such a relaxing time! The beach was literally right outside the door. The sand was perfect and the water was the clearest we have ever seen in California.

Jack's first movie, Finding Nemo.  He did so good!  A little restless at times, but we stayed for the entire movie.  Grandma Parkinson came along and we were almost the only ones in the theater.Couldn't have asked for a better first trip!
