Easter Part Two

For Easter we headed over to Grandma's house, Mee Maw to the kids, and had a great time!The kids always LOVE playing with Amy.  It is fun to watch and I am thankful that they have a cousin (soon to be cousins) so close in age. 

Easter Part One

Saturday before Easter we celebrated at Grandma and Papa's house.  Uncle Mike, Cindy, Jen, and Jake all came up to celebrate.  The weather was gorgeous and the kid's thought it was pretty cool to enjoy their lunch outside picnic style.  The Easter egg hunt was a hit and the food was delicious.  Fun filled day!

Easter Morning

This year the Easter posts are going to be a little heavy.  We celebrated Easter all weekend, at home, and with both sides of the family.   Easter morning was a lot of fun!  The kids searched Easter eggs and played with all of the fun things that the Easter Bunny brought them.  Then we watched HOP, got dressed up, and headed over to Grandma and Papa's house for Easter #1.  The camera's brought by the Easter Bunny were a huge hit!  The kids ran around the house telling each other, and us, to "say CHEESE!" all morning.

Easter Eggs

Every year the kids get older, all of the fun stuff that comes with the holidays gets better and better!  We spent the morning seeing baby number #3 in an ultrasound, Benihana for lunch (YUM!), came home for a nap, and then in the afternoon we dyed a whole lot of eggs!  Good times!

Repunzel's Rocket

Last weekend we set out on a mission to find a water powered rocket... and we failed.  However, we did find a fun air powered rocket that the kids thought was pretty cool.  Ella dressed in her Rapunzel best was the first to try it out.  She thought it was awesome when Daddy lifted her up and dropped her to launch the rocket.  It was fun to watch her face as the rocket flew through the sky!    

My Girl

My Sweet Ella,

I love you!  You turning four has made me excited and little sad.  Excited that you are learning new things and becoming a gorgeous little girl and sad that you are growing up so fast.  You have such a fun personality!  Your funny (although the chicken crossing the road joke does get old after the 100th time), smart, so sweet to everyone, sensitive, and caring.  You bring a brightness to the room every time you walk in and are an integral part of our family.  Four years ago you made me a Mom, and in that time you have taught me more about life and myself than I ever thought was possible.  You say "I Love You" all the time  just because, give the best hugs, and always insist on saying good night one more time before bed time.  I truly enjoy being your Mom and am so thankful for you!

Baker Jack

Jack and I were up early, so I took advantage of the quiet time with my little man and we made some muffins for breakfast.  He loved the one on one attention and thought it was fun to sneak a few tastes of the batter.  He proudly posed next to his hard work.
